Emily’s Make Believe Policies
The minimum for a party is eight. Should less than eight attend on the date of your party, minimum
charges for the party are due. Additional guests are $15.00 each. We recommend guests be limited to a
maximum of fifteen, including the guest of honor, to insure a magical time for each guest. Emily’s Make Believe will
call approximately 5 days before your scheduled party for a guest count. In the event that confirmed guests do not attend,
charges will remain the same.
Bookings:
Bookings should be made as soon as possible as party dates fill up quickly. Once you have called to schedule your party
date, a contract package will be mailed to you, sign the contract and mail it back as soon as possible. I will also accept the signed contract by email. We require a $60.00 deposit at the time of booking to
secure a date and time. The remaining balance is due during set-up the day of your scheduled party. We accept personal checks,
cashiers check, money order or exact cash.
We also accept credit
card payments through Pay Pal. If this is the preferred way to pay, please let Emily’s Make Believe
know in advance, and we will send you an automated bill through email.Gratuities are appreciated, but not expected.
Bookings should
be made no later than two weeks before a party to give us time to insure that we have the supplies on hand. An additional
fee may apply if less than two weeks notice is given.
Cancellations/Refunds:
Deposits are non-refundable, however, we will be happy to reschedule and apply your deposit toward an alternate available
date.
Parents: Parents are welcome to help and enjoy the celebration; hostess parent must remain with children
at all times. We will need a clean, safe, smoke free environment area for eating, crafts, and costume changes.
Professional:
Emily’s Make Believe assumes no responsibilities or liabilities for accidents or damages. Your hostess will treat your
home with the utmost respect and professionalism. You as the client assume all liability and responsibility for allergic reactions
or any other medical reaction stemming from the menu, wearing of costumes, or any other activity taken place during the party.
Party
Times: Due to the amount of bookings we receive our party time begins at 10:00 a.m. and will run approximately 1 to 1
1/2 hours depending on the amount of guests.
R.S.V.P.
Policy: The client is responsible for R.S.V.P.'s your name and phone number is included on the invitations. Please call
Emily’s Make Believe no later than five days before your scheduled party date with the number of guests expected to
attend or any last minute changes.
Parking:
Please leave space for us to part near an entrance where we will not be blocked in. We would appreciate easy access as we
have a lot of heavy items to carry into your party.
Photos:
With permission Emily’s Make Believe may use pictures from your party for promotional purposes. We will have you sign
a photo release. Host mom may purchase photos taken at party for an addition fee of $20.00. Please let us know ahead
of time if this service is wanted, so that we may have a photographer available on the day of the party.
